I get on very well with Las Vegas. Some say it’s artificial, cheesy and tacky. I agree and I love it.
What I love most of all is that Las Vegas Strip is a brilliant leveller of people. If you walk down there you will walk past a couple in their dinner dress going for a meal at the three-Michelin-star rated Joel Roubechon restaurant before catching a show, a group of lads on a stag weekend and a man being wheeled along with his oxygen tank enjoying his last moments of life.
