Monday Memories – #2 Cancun
A package holiday! We chose Cancun as our honeymoon destination in June 2007.
A couple of friends had been there in the few years beforehand and highly recommended it. In the late 1960s the Mexicans wanted to increase the amount of Dollars coming over the boarder and invested heavily in the infrastructure to attract the development of the resort. It has its own airport and within minutes of leaving the terminal you turn onto the coast and see the most beautiful sea you will ever experience, even my mum who has sat on most beaches in the world agrees.
Aside from that there’s loads to do and you’ll have to do really well to avoid the tequila, you’d think the Mexicans have it for breakfast!
For a two week break, I don’t think you can get better.
