Monday Memories – #1 Barcelona

Barcelona!  The foreign city I have been to the most times, five in total, and easily one of my favourite places: it has great weather, loads of bars and it’s only a couple of hours on an Easyjet flight from the UK.  The five trips can be broken down as two for football matches (including the 1999 European Cup Final) and three weekend breaks (including my Stag Weekend in 2007).

It’s a fantastic city for all people; whether it’s a football weekend, a boys holiday, a couples city break or you’re experiencing the museums and architectural brilliance of Gaudi then it’s well worth a visit. (For me it’s generally beer & football).

Pictures. (1) View from the fourth tier of the Nou Camp (April 2008). (2) Enjoying a beer on La Rambla with Stuoobs (June 2003).
