Florida #2 – The Fun Continues!
Since the ‘Cheerio Dunc’ post it’s been a bit quiet on here. This is because the software I use to blog from my phone when abroad changed when I was away. It’s sorted now and this is the post I intended to upload nearly two weeks ago.
I’m getting all the pics of Stuoobs tomorrow so should have a full, comprehensive and unsuccessfully long account of Florida this week.

Since the last post we’ve been very busy. Following the hectic stag & airport bonanza we’ve spent a few days theme parking and have visited Sea World, Aquatica (Sea World’s water park) and Busch Gardens. Due to the moist nature of the parks we’ve visited I couldn’t get a good pic on my phone to upload to the blog, so I settled for a picture of some boys being gay in the villa.
Sea World was phenomenal – it was the attraction I was looking forward to most of all and it didn’t disappoint. The first thing that greats you on the way in is the ‘Dolphin Nursery’; a pool for Dolphin mummies and babies live for a while. There were around three sets in there and they are wonderful. For those who have never seen live dolphins before you really need to go and see some, they are natural show-offs and love to say hello and prat about – a bit like us really.
There is so much ‘wow factor’ in Sea World from the roller coasters, the excellent log flume and the many animal shows but the undisputed highlight is the Shamu show that was so wonderful we all began to well up a little! It’s well worth five minutes of your time to Google ‘Shamu Believe’ (the name of the show) and see what the fuss is about – incredible.
Aquatica is a water park and not too special in its own right but there are worse ways to spend your day than in a state of the art water park in 100F heat dicking about with your mates. It was a day when I woke up feeling poo and would have been happy lazing by the pool but I’m glad we went, the highlight was the vertical slide race between the six blokes – won by The Don.
As for today (and I’m rushing because the taxis are on their way); we visited Busch Gardens in Tampa, basically a cross between a Safari Park and a Theme Park. It was mega and there were several rides that Stuart didn’t go on and a couple more that he really SHOULDN’T have gone on.
We’re now off out for a good night out – the Tubing has been a good and a full alcohol will follow tomorrow.
