Holidaying in London!
I’ve regularly made the point that as we’ve jaunted away to the likes of Amsterdam, Barca, Madrid, Prague etc we really should make the effort to Pendolino down to our own capital for a holiday. It’s all very well getting the 7.05am train from Manchester in order to have some worthless day in the 
London office – the highlight of which will be managing to escape the horrors of Euston station (if you’ve never been then don’t go – it’s full of London Bastards in a hurry) but to really enjoy our nation’s capital you need a weekend.

We headed down on Friday morning and began the tourist stuff immediately with lunch on the South Bank followed by the London Eye – on a clear day it is really something, it is very easy to miss just how much history London has and how well marketed it all is!
It was then off out for some proper tourist nightlife – Leicester Square!
What else was there to do on the Saturday other than a good old Open Top bus tour, a Show and more drinking. A great way to sign off our holiday in London – loads more pictures on Facebook.
