Football highs and lows
A few things over recent days. So, in no particular order…
The iPod turned up. I suppose I need to give credit to Orange broadband for their generous overlooking of download limits and bittorrent sites for opening the door to all the music I could ever wish for. It’s not exactly life changing but I’m a boy and it’s a gadget, so it makes me happy.
Then there’s football. Tuesday was spent playing football and then going to the Man Utd v Roma game. I wasn’t supposed to be playing football as I was due to take Aussie Alex to Old Trafford but he spectacularly failed to show up so I arranged for Easty to take Alex’s tixket and off I trotted to play football.

Bad decision as I ended up with a sprained ankle. It wasn’t that bad at forst but a trip to Old Trafford and an over excited jump as Ronaldo backheeled the ball into the net ensured that the following morning I’d be hopping to hospital. Bloody goal was then ruled offside.
Anyway, we just about beat the cheating Italians 1-0 thanks to their inability to shoot.
So, if anybody’s seen Alex – let him know I’m looking for him.
As for now, it’s Thursday night and it’s London and Reykjavik!
Can’t wait!
